Our Philosophy of Education

We believe all students have the ability to learn, grow, and be successful.  It is essential for students to become independent thinkers and effective communicators about what they know, what they have read, what they have learned, and the connections involved.  Students must be challenged, given the opportunity to practice, grow, and demonstrate their perseverance every day.  It is also vital that students be provided with a structured learning environment, which helps to foster our school rules of being a respectful, responsible, and safe learner.  Students must always be held accountable for their actions, and expected to try their personal best. While mistakes are bound to be made, when they are learned from, they become opportunities to grow.  Education is a journey, where the path taken is more important than the final destination.
