Our Backgrounds
Ms. Franklin grew up in Battle Creek, Michigan. She attended Ball State University in Indiana and received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. She moved to Vermont in 2002 and began working as a long-term sub at Williamstown Elementary school. The following year, she continued to work as a long-term sub in various Chittenden county schools. Ms. Franklin came back to Williamstown Elementary School in 2004 and has been here ever since. In 2009, she received a Masters of Education from Southern New Hampshire University.
Mrs. Thompson grew up in Colchester, Vermont. She attended St. Lawrence University in New York and received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. In 2002, she received a Masters of Science in Education from Wheelock College. Mrs. Thompson taught for several years in Boston before moving back to Vermont. Once back in Vermont, she worked as a paraeducator and after-school coordinator for various Chittenden county schools. Mrs. Thompson joined Williamstown Elementary School in 2005 and has been here ever since.
